Eric Swenson is the Business Education Specialist with the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Prior to joining the OPI in 2010, Eric spent 13 years teaching a variety of business and technology courses at Denton High School. Eric is a Past President of the Montana Business Education Association and the Montana Association for Career and Technical Education, as well as a past Montana BPA state advisor and is a former member of the Business Professionals of America’s National Board of Trustees. In addition to his OPI duties, Eric is currently President-elect of the Western Business Education Association and is a faculty member with the University of Montana Western. Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Education, a Bachelor of Science–Secondary Social Sciences, and Master of Education–Business Education.
